Next, from the Ukraine website, it says "Stalin and his followers were determined to teach Ukraine’s farmers “a lesson they would not forget” for resisting collectivization", which meant giving up their own land to work on government controlled farms.
Lastly, from Stalin's Genocides book, it claims "Stalin ordered that a 'knockout blow' would be delivered to 'some collective farmers and collective farms' that continued to resist requisitioning.
