1. Vera or the Nihilists;
2. The play was written in 1881;
3. The main idea of the play is to reject love in order to some nihilistic ideas.
4. My favourite character is Vera because she is so brave.
She killed herself for revolutional ideas. Finally, the play ends the following sentence: " I have saved Russia".

1. The Importance of Being Earnest
2. Was published in 1895
3. Marriage is of paramount importance in The Importance of Being Earnest, both as a primary force motivating the plot and as a subject for philosophical speculation and debate. The play is actually an ongoing debate about the nature of marriage and whether it is “pleasant or unpleasant.”
4. My favourite character is Cecily Cardew. Cecily, for me, is the most realistically drawn character in the play, and she is the only character who does not speak in epigrams. Her charm lies in her idiosyncratic cast of mind and her imaginative capacity, qualities that derive from Wilde’s notion of life as a work of art. These elements of her personality make her a perfect mate for Algernon.

Only a fragment of the manuscript has been saved.
1) The year of creation-1894
2) The main idea -In this work the author addresses the topic of faith. The writer makes it clear that a pragmatic attitude to faith, orientation to materialistic values are comparable to paganism and in they are evaluated by the playwright as a sign of the degradation of modern society.
3) I think that I can't find my favourite character in this play because we don't have the full version of this play, therefore, we can't analyse them properly.

This play have Bible plot and characters from Bible.
3. I don't have favorite character because they all are obsessed with power, love, lust and manipulating. I don't share such way of life. So, he tried to conquer the battle between two people drugged by love.
My favourite character is Simone, the husband, who wanted to be happy and open-hearted. However, he got to know with the difficulties of love and trust to each other. It heart when you believe to the person, but you are deceived or misleaded by him. His story is very painful and close to our real life.

The year of creation is 1895
This play is about corruption in London 1890. The main idea of these play is that every secret always become clear. The author told us how difficult to live when you have a lot of "dark" deals and enemies, who wanted to destroy and manipulate you.
My favourite character is Lady Gertrude Chiltern. I like her because she is the symbol of morality in this story. It was difficult to her to admit that her husband had had dark business in the past. However, she was very clever and in the end she accepted him and his life. And husband forgave her

1.       “Salome” by Oscar Wilde

2. The play was written in French in 1891

3. The main idea of the play is the fact that beauty is the great weapon, sometimes harmful, fatal. We can see it in fact that Wilde's Salome is not only beautiful, she is devilishly beautiful. Her beauty is not virtuous, but cruel and bloodthirsty. She has no soul, and the age-old conflict between the soul and the physical carrier of this soul in our mortal world.

4. My favourite character is Salome herself, because of all the actors in the play, only Salome actually "acts". All the other characters of the tragedy are waiting for some symbols or signs. If they do anything, it is only because Salome provokes them to do it. Salome doesn't care what other characters think of her; she only pays attention to her own desires. Salome's seduction of her lover demonstrates understanding that she is given with sexual power, which she will later use against Herod.
