Who is more likely to develop ADHD

Males are three times more likely to develop ADHD than woman, the reason for that is because boys tend to show it more and when girls know that have it, it tends to destroy there self esteems. Race doesn't matter its all just genetics and runs in the family so you can't say race has to due with it but gender we see it occurs more in boys. Geography also plays a role too because some areas can't afford to buy the medication to delay or try and prevent it where as the United States has many resources and ways they can get the medication for people and they can afford it too. Most kids will show signs of having ADHD around the age of 6 and 7 but it may not impact them until they are older. 6.1% of American children are being treated for ADHD. You also may not notice it when they are younger because they aren't in school and until they start to have focusing you my not be able to tell until grade school.
