In laboratories approximately 100,000-200,000 animals are suffering and dying due to the  chemicals that they exposed to. This animals include rabbits, hamsters, rats, mice and guinea pigs. This tests cause a great deal of pain and distress including blindness, organ damage and death. Today, in our ''modern world'' people act like they never heard of these testings and buy their beauty products INSTEAD OF using cruelty-free brands. Why do companies continue to doing that? Because they explore new ingredients and they don't know if they are dangerous or not. So they use animals to find out. I think, unfortunately they don't realize there are thousands of ingredients which cruelty-free companies use. I don't think they'll ever stop testing on animals but we can create a difference, we can raise awareness. So, first step is being aware of what's happening around us. When we do that eventually we can stimulate others. Being aware of and not using the non-cruelty-free products actually is a huge step. Because they are everywhere and getting rid of them is a kind of changing our lives. Then we can encourage and inform others. Some are killed at just 5 or 6 years old, even though they could live to be 30 or more. It is also very popular in this industry to "drug" horses and scar their legs with liquid nitrogen so that they run faster. But maybe the worst case is that when they run on that race track, it can always be their last minutes of their lives.
