My parents

My parents have definitely made me who I am and are continuing to help me grow. They have provided nothing but a loving and supportive environment and helped me learn to the best of my abilities since I can even remember. I don't know how they did it, but my parents raised me and my 2 siblings in an amazing way and we have all been well mannered and respectful since a young age and because of this I would say that I was generally more calm and more mature then most the kids my age growing up. And I definitely think that how I was raised has contributed to who I am. I have always strived to be my best and put my best work out there and because of this I graduated with a 4.0 in high school without my parents having to push or pressure me. It was all my choice to work for all A's for 4 straight years and they were very proud of me. They've never pushed me to do the best they just want me to try my best and have always been there to support me. Especially my dad, who is a very hard worker has shown me what its like to be determined and persistent in what you want and over the years I have picked up on this trait and now I like to work until I can get what I want and able to get it for myself and not rely on anyone. As well as my dad shows nothing but love in every situations and is very understanding and this is something that I looked up to since a very young age. I was usually the one getting in arguments with my other sibling and my mom and butting heads and he was the one who helped break them up and he never looked down on me or said me or my siblings were in the wrong but instead he would hear out both sides and try to explain both sides to us and try to solve it. I believe that I am a product of how I was raised and so definitely my parents and the environment I was raised in has made me who I am.

Sentimental

I am a pretty sentimental person and small things mean a lot to me as well as I also always liked to do small gestures for my parents growing up. When I was little I always made sure my parents had water and a blanket when they were watching a movie cause I didn't want them to get thirsty or cold and I didn't want them to get cold cause I knew that I didn't like to be cold so I was sure they wouldn't like it either. I would also always say bye to my parents at the garage door and the run to the porch to wave bye a they left. I don't know why I did this but I always wanted to wave bye to them and I would get sad when they didn't notice I was there and wave back. I would also hide behind the garage door when they got home and be the first person to say hi and greet them. I'm not sure why I wanted to do these things but saying bye and being there to say hi when they got home meant a lot to me. Another things is for Christmas every year, I would make this whole scene in a card board box of my family and I made each member individually and then built us a set where we were wither outside and it was snowing or we were in the house by the Christmas tree and there were presents all around and I did this for 3-4 years. Small things just mean more to me and I think that being sentimental make me who because I can find joy in the little things. Small gestures mean more to me the big extravagant things and I will always prefer something hand made over something bought.

I think that in a way piano does play a part in who I am because I have been playing on and off for about 7 years and its the only hobby that I have stuck with. I have done gymnastics, ballet, competitive dance, guitar, volleyball, and tumbling and none of them have stuck like piano did. I love playing and I love being able to play and I plan to continue to play for a long time. I don't think I can really see myself not playing the piano

I would say that I am very family oriented and I really enjoy sticking to traditions that me and my family do, and they mean a lot to me. One big tradition that I really enjoy is, we go and watch a Christmas carol play every year around Christmas and we have done it for as long I can remember. I think that traditions make me who I am in a way because it shows that family oriented side of me

Animals

I have a special love for animals and I'm sure many other do as well but I've always wanted to just protect animals because they cant talk or defend themselves and they are all just so pure. I also have always wanted to get a dog from the shelter that is either the oldest one or has been their the longest amount of time because they all deserve to live a happy life and I want to be able to give it to them. I think that Animals make me who I am because they show a side of me that doesn't come out around just people. I hate to see animals hurt more then people and I think it goes back to the fact that they can't communicate and express their pain and so I hurt for animals a lot more then I do humans.
