First, we found a strange device near some old ruins. When we pressed a button, a bright light surrounded us, and suddenly, we were in an ancient city. The buildings were perfectly preserved, and the streets were very quiet. Maybe the device had sent us back in time, I thought. Or did we use it the wrong way?

Next, we saw a broken temple and decided to explore it. Inside, we found a very strange machine. It looked like it could open a portal. Perhaps it needed a special code to work, we guessed. Afterward, we tried turning the knobs and pressing the buttons. Finally, the machine started to glow. We stepped through the portal, wondering, Did we fix it, or would it send us somewhere even stranger?
