The experience of teaching was good if you have an idea of what macro is and also if you find a simple way to explain it. I think it was not complicate because instead of just talk about what macrophotography is I preferred to show with examples an making them practice as well and I think it was a good idea to explain this with examples as when you do something you can ask and see how it works.
For example I was the first to start taking the pictures so the rest can se e how it work and what I was doing and at the same time they can ask questions.

I gained skills in know how to places images to make it an image look completely different and give other meaning. 

Rule of thirds can be used to despite the subject from the middle of the image.

The golden rectangle is a spiral that  grows proportional. This spiral can be used to make the viewer follow the subject.

Leading lines can be used to lead the eye to a different parts in an image. 

Lines of sight are created by the subject (in the image) and this subject lead us to something else.

Strong diagonals are diagonal leading lines this lines gives a unbalanced mood to the image and also can be used to give a dramatic mood.

The point of view can be created by using different perspectives when taking pictures. This can be used to  highlight different parts in an image by changing the point of view.

Cindy Sherman was born in 19/01/1945. She studied visual art but finally she decided to study painting photography. Her work is based in self-portrait, depicting her self in different context and imagined characters. Cindy Sherman is recognized as one of the most influential artists in the contemporary art world.

Cindy Sherman has always had a central concept that has been to transform her self into different characters and explore every area. Through all her work she has been exploring this concept and in each stage of her work we have been able to see how she moves and evolves along with time.

Realism wanted to show the real life and contemporary life

The time and the light were elements really important in this movement. The impressionism movement wanted to capture something.

The Fauvism movement was highlighted by using bright colors, see thing in different ways and make the reality less real.

In this period some things started to change. Artist started to use geometric shapes to represent different things.

In the cubism movement, artist started to represent the reality in a different way. The way they used was to transforms everything into different shapes for example, squares or rectangles. It was a dark period as it was a war period. So what the artist wanted to show was the destruction that the war caused.

In this period we find different things.
Surrealism, abstract and geometric shapes where the main focus in this period. Many artist were looking for aesthetic art, give different sense to reality through abstract art. In addition, the collage was an important part as they create collages that feel like dream, they mixed fantasy with reality.
Dada appears in 1920 it was a crazy style where the things that look that doesn't have any sense were the most important and relevant things.

In this period, photography is considered as an art. Is a mechanical as you need a camera to get the image  and it's also considered a powerful art, because you can show reality as it is.

This period is characterized by attraction expressions. Emotions and mood were an important part in this period. 
Modernism appears and was recognized by showed real people and it has an open interpretation.

Different arts were explored at this time as, fashion, music. It also happen a sexual revolution(feminism).
Artist used art as a self-identification way, they also experiment with optical art, structures, textures, minimalist, negative space, electrical things and performance arts.

Minimalism is a movement in sculpture, painting and music that is characterized by using simple and massive forms, in music is characterized by using short phrases and hypnotic sounds.

Maximalism is movement that surge against minimalism. Their philosophy where more is more.

Negative space is related minimalism and is attach with all the empty space the can be found in the minimalist art or structures.
On the opposite, positive space is related with maximalism and means occupied space in a maximalism paint or structure.

  

Modernism is a global movement that value the individuality of the artist and in a perpetual progression in art. This movement is considered serious, aloofness and strict. Minimalism art is related to this movement.

Postmodernism appeared to deal with modernism that was considered a strict movement which believed in the progress of art. On the other hand, postmodernism was about the opposite by encouraging artists to use different materials and look for other types of influences. Maximalism is linked to this movement, being a more chaotic and experimental type of art.

Macrophotography is a close-up photography where the subject is really small and it's better to see in bigger size than in the really size. Macrophotography is used to express what you don't usually see.

For macrophotography the best light is natural light and if using artificial light is better to use tungsten white balance. In addition, you can use a translucent diffusor that helps you to soft the light. As we can see soften light is important  in this kind of photography so when taking photos you can blocking the light with your body to get soft light.

Macro lenses are the most common lenses when taking macrophotography as it get really close to the subject. Is important to get a clear and small subject. Macrophotography should be captures in RAW or JPGE files.

Soft light is can help you to make your images look delicate. When taking pictures of amphibians it's important to keep them hydrated all the time and also knowing their behavior is essential to know how and when take the pictures.

When doing macro photography is complicated to focus the object for different reasons, one can be that you are not using a macro lenses so you zoom your camera at all but now you can't focus the subject so what you can do is to move the camera ( a little bit far) to help the camera focus the subject.

In some occasion when doing macro photography you will use reverse ring that means that the aperture will disappear and all you can control is the shutter speed so you will need a tripod as sometime you will need to use a slow shutter speed and you have to avoid camera shaking to make your subject look sharp.

DoF becomes really important in this type of photography as what do you want is to make your image look the sharpest possible and it's difficult as sometimes you get one part of the image focus and the other part it gets blur. There are some techniques to make you image look totally sharp.

Is a positive lenses as the light rays concentrate in a fixed point to create a real image.

Is a negative lenses as when the light come in the lenses refracted away form the center.

Franz creates this pieces by using vintage illustration and images mixed with a found paper materials, he also use different elements like backgrounds, shadows and some drawings.

In all his art I can see that he use a lot of vintage images, he add also newspapers or magazines segments, also he uses different sizes in each image that he uses to create a contrast.

In my opinion after read about Franz and his work I can say that he loves how using different media imagery he can creates a new different story and can create other word( abstract) by using normal pictures or newspapers.

Audience is the person or persons who see and explore your work.

The feedback and their perspective about the art work is what it makes an audience important.

The audience can change the artist/art thorught their opinion or the way they understand the work( different opinion and meaning).

It can be considere at the beginning it mean when planning the work, during the process or right before the audience has seen the art work, Th elastic's one is the most useful as after the audience see your work you can have their feedback and perspective and when creating something new you will know hot to approach your art to the audience.

Most of the images look subtle and with any emotion in the subject face. This kind of images give the feeling of vulnerability and serious look. Most of this series of images are form famous people, usually famous person tends to smile in most of all the images but in this series they look serious and that gives the effect that they look like strangers even if they are recognize people.

The point of view for this images are portrait the DoF is shallow. He uses a bright background.

He uses a 3  point light where two of light are faced to the background and the other one directly to the subject face. He usually uses a fluorescent light as it gives a daylight temperature.
The setting for the camera are the biggest aperture F 1.8, a low ISO (100), the shutter speed should be between 25/55 but usually you will changed to a faster to correct the exposure. If it's possible you can use a proper lease for this type of shoot as for example, 50mm lenses .

Each artwork, movement and periods have different types of audience. The way that an artwork is seeing depends on the audience who see the art.
Audience perceive artwork in different ways. Many artists sample an original piece, they re-invent that piece of art. Also the audience of the original piece is different form the piece that is interpreted.
 Example: Batman
The audience for Batman character has change with the time, this is because different components. Before Batman was know because a comic and Tv live action doing small kind of thing but know he appears in big films and he has to face to big things.

Las Meninas

1656 painting by Diego Velazquez, it vaguely depicts the court of King Philip of Spain.
In this piece we can find Velazquez himself as he was the court portraitist.

The painting is a portrait but the subject are more down that up than we have more negative space. In this painting we can find the golden triangle that makes your eye traveling in the piece. Also he painted the reality.

The paint looks old and formal as the people who was in that painting was the court. The room feel heaving because the color scheme( brightness on the top and darkness in the central area). 

Probably Velazquez was painting how a 'normal' day was in the life of the court. The princess can be seen in the image and she is waiting for her parent while they are being painting in other room.

Velazquez  trap the audience inside the painting but  no ones is aware of you. This can be understand if you see the mirror that is located in the background of the paint.

In the beginning this piece was for royal people but then it becomes public. Know the social demographic has change as is much bigger than the original audience also people has more knowledge in art and what Velazquez wanted to express.

The audience will feel like is part of the painting and in that time it was an innovation. I think everyone likes to feel like they form part of something. This type of effect it's call break the fourth wall.

 La Meninas is enormously influential  as it's been stated the most important paintings of all time. It has been called the epitome of what painting can achieve. It has inspired other artist to re-interpreted it and make their own version.

Each audience perceive art in different ways.
The audiences are different for different artwork.
Artworks change when the time.
The artist will make work a specific audience. They need to develop their art 

The color of their images is in black and white. The backgrounds of most of their images is the nature as the bodies are in a farm. She takes car when taking photos of the bodies as we can not see too much just some parts but you can tell that is a dead person. The impact of this kind of work is big as is not common to see images of dead person as is bad seen unless is a scientific way.
