I have always admired the subtleness of the colors used, the earth tones in the painting and most especially the emotionless 'Monalisa'.

1. The various materials that are being used on Painting:
2. The different forms or systems of painting:
3. The techniques in painting
4. The different subjects that can be used for Painting
5. The elements and principles present in a Painting

For me, the lesson that made the most impact on me as a Fine Arts student is the different techniques in painting. To me, it amazed me on how many variety there is into creating an artwork. At home, we have this painting of a couple dancing ballet. After learning more about Painting in Fine Arts, I now notice the painting that we have displayed at home. I now appreciate the artworks that I encounter and most especially the paintings that I see. 

Ms. Leynes taught us (and most especially me) how meticulous each artwork (painting) is. It is given much importance and effort by each artist and really portrays a message or a meaning to each one of them. Ms. Leynes passionately discussed to us how each painting is a unique one of its kind; it is made up of the artist's mind and heart to give birth to a painting that's such.

Now, I know how to critique but most especially appreciate an artwork (specifically a painting).
