My hometown is Alfenas. It is a beautiful city in the south of Minas Gerais, known for its calm atmosphere and friendly people. The city has a large university, nice squares, and a lovely lake where people like to walk and relax.

My family’s hometowns are Varginha and Rio de Janeiro. Part of my family is from Varginha, a nice city in the south of Minas Gerais known for its coffee and the famous “ET de Varginha” story. The other part is from Rio de Janeiro, a big and lively city famous for its beautiful beaches and the Christ the Redeemer statue. Both places are special because of their beauty and friendly people.

What makes it so beautiful is its natural scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and the feeling of being close to nature everywhere you go. The city I visited in MG that I found most beautiful is also Carrancas.

The city I would like to visit most is Bergen, in Norway. Bergen is known as the “Gateway to the Fjords” and is famous for its stunning natural landscapes, including majestic mountains, deep fjords, and beautiful waterfronts. The city has colorful wooden houses in the historic Bryggen district, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, giving it a charming and unique atmosphere. I would love to explore the surrounding nature, hike the mountains, and experience the local culture, food, and festivals that make Bergen so special.

In Minas Gerais, the city I would like to visit most is Ouro Preto. This historic city is famous for its colonial architecture, cobblestone streets, and magnificent churches filled with gold and art from the Baroque period. Walking through Ouro Preto feels like traveling back in time, and it is a perfect place to learn about Brazilian history, culture, and the lives of people during the colonial era. I would love to visit the museums, climb the hills, and admire the beautiful views of the city and surrounding landscapes. My favorite place in Minas Gerais is a roça, a small countryside farm located near Fama. It is very peaceful and calm, far from the noise and movement of the city. I love spending time there because of the fresh air, the green fields, and the quiet atmosphere. Being in the roça allows me to relax, enjoy nature, listen to birds singing, and feel connected to the simple and beautiful rural life of Minas Gerais.
