China’s protesters take to the streets—and the internet
In China, protesters are coming up with new methods to oppose their government. Due to China's repressive authority which censors all negativity and opposition towards government policies such as the latest "zero Covid" policy, protesters had to come up with ways to bypass censorship. In order to do this, they began using messages with double meanings which are more difficult to flag since they lack obvious key words that the government can easily monitor. Balenciaga is a very valuable designer brand. And it recently made some people mad. The brand had to apologize twice in one day for ads that "missed the mark". Chinese citizen are protesting their government online and in real life. But if they protest in real life, they could potentially get arrested. Protesters in China are speaking out against President Xi Jinping and his restrictive policies regarding COVID-19. Not only the COVID policies, but also the lack of freedom in general has been a major subject of protest in China for the past decades. As a communist government, the Chinese officials seek to have complete control and authority over citizens, limiting rights, and putting down anyone who speaks out. I only hope these protesters can walk away from this alive.

Elon Musk got into quite the disagreement with apple, after apple threatened to remove twitter from the appstore. Musk revealed the apple takes 30% of all app fees (event within the app itself). In addition, Musk mentioned having to charge an $8 fee for twitter which he backs up with apples 30% charge on companies. People in North Carolina shot at two electrical substations about 10 miles apart. This caused irreversible damage as well as a massive power outage affecting about 45,000 citizens. At the first Arab-hosted world cup Morocco becomes the first Arab Country to make it to the quarter-finals. They beat Spain in the Semi-Finals on penalties in one of the biggest upsets of the tournament. France decided "air routes with a reliable train alternative that takes less than 2.5 hours will be cut". With gas emissions rising each day and a hope to stop pollution many are trying to find better and more effective ways to decrease gas emissions.
