We also watched the movie 2040, which is an award-winning documentary talking about practical, existing solutions to problems that will face humanity in that year. It discussed ideas such as independent solar grids that exchange between homes as a microcosm of the energy economy, first trialled in 3rd world countries like Bangladesh. It used little hard stats however, focussing more on pathos. One stat that did feature was that 10,000 dollars a minute are spent worldwide subsidising fossil fuels.

(Mental illness and drug misuse, socio-economic pressure and lack of family support). We extrapolated these ideas into a series of short solutions, including increasing employment so people aren't forced into a life of crime, but we settled on education programs for young people to end the cycle of poverty. Lots of research that was done from many officious sources and engines like EBSCO was done, but it lacked relevance, so I will try to improve that in the future.
