The family that drew the marked slip would face an ominous ritual designed to bring fertility and good fortune to the crops and the community. Initially, the Lottery was met with resistance. But Jonathan Abernathy was skilled in manipulation, using his position of authority to convince the others that the well-being of the community was at stake. He fuelled fear by recounting stories of villages that had perished due to the lack of such traditions. As time passed, and the fear of suffering and death grew more palpable, the townspeople reluctantly agreed to participate in the Lottery. They hoped that this gruesome ritual would end their hardships and bring prosperity to Blackwood. In the first years of the Lottery, the process was relatively tame, with each family taking their turn to draw slips from the box. As luck would have it, no black dot was drawn, and the village began to believe in the tradition. The villagers, Jonathan Abernathy had tampered with the box. The black dot, which represented the "chosen" family, was strategically placed to avoid detection during the initial draws. This manipulation allowed Abernathy to perpetuate the Lottery without raising suspicion and ensured that the community remained invested in the tradition.

It raised a question of how can he remember all of the stats and games AFL teams have won and by how much of the margin and how many votes players got and the ladder positions.

The critical tone reflects her frustration with the lack of progress on a pressing global issue. Barack Obama  employs a measured and positive tone in his speeches. His style is carefully chosen words, and a balanced approach. He aims to inspire hope, unity, and progress. By maintaining a positive tone, he seeks to build bridges and encourage cooperation, appealing to a broad audience. He wants to reassure people, calm potential anxieties.

If there is a really high crisis and the world is in big trouble as more pollution is impacting the environment and that's why Greta spoke about it in her speech.

Contrast and framing matter because they can affect how your audience thinks, feels, and acts in response to your message. Contrast can help you capture attention and inspire action. So that's why Obama uses his positive tone and also to calm the audience down and everything is going to be okay.

That if people hate you they will do anything to shut you up and put your away as he spoke about strong content that's really important in today's world.

Uncertainties and questions as if people speak the truth why do people not want to hear it and want to be told comforting lies and not listen to what others have to say and cancel them.

By hosting the Games, we show our commitment to welcoming diverse and recognising our shared culture, demonstrating that even in the face of hardship, we can stand strong together. The national and local economies benefit greatly from the Commonwealth Games. The flood of spectators, athletes, and tourists brings in money for the hotel, transportation, and tourism industries, among others. Local communities grow, businesses grow, and jobs are produced. By cancelling the Games, we would lose an opportunity to boost our economy. Sport has long served as an inspiration for encouraging people of all ages to live better lives and follow their aspirations. The Commonwealth Games encourage physical fitness and wellbeing while serving as a motivation for aspiring athletes.
