In 2016, Felix was invited to audition for JYP Entertainment in his home country. However, he decided to complete his studies before moving to South Korea. Finally, in February 2017, Felix became an apprentice. In August of the same year, it was announced that JYP together with Mnet were preparing a new reality show, which aimed to train a group of boys. The peculiarity of this show was that from the beginning the group was already formed and the boys' goal was to debut with nine members. In the eighth episode, Felix was eliminated from the show due to the shortcomings of his live performances and his poor Korean language skills. However, thanks to Park Jin-young, the founder of JYP, he got a chance to perform again in the final episode of the show. During this episode, thanks to the audience's vote and Park's final decision, Felix became a member of Stray Kids.Felix debuted with the release of EP I Am Not on March 26, 2018.

In April 2023, Felix received an invitation to attend the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2023 fashion show in Seoul, South Korea. A month later, he was again invited, this time to attend the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2024 fashion show in Italy. At the latter event, he became the only South Korean artist present during the presentation of Louis Vuitton's Cruise 2024 collection. From that moment on, Stray Kids' fans began to speculate about a possible collaboration between the rapper and the French fashion house, although at that time it had not been officially confirmed.During Stray Kids' participation in the Lollapalooza Paris 2023 music festival and the group's 5-Star Dome Tour concert, Felix was seen regularly wearing Louis Vuitton garments. This generated speculation among Stray Kids fans about a possible future collaboration between Felix and the fashion brand. Finally, on August 22, Louis Vuitton officially announced that Felix had become a brand ambassador.
