Do you know what statistics is? It’s a thing

that’s used to do calculations in general,

about people being born, falling ill,

dying, going to jail, or getting married.

 

But to me, the curious statistics

is when percentage is concerned,

because in that case the average is always the same

even for people in need.

 

I’ll explain: from the calculations done

according to current day statistics,

it turns out that you’re due half a chicken per year;

 

and, if that’s not contemplated in your expenses,

it’s still contemplated in your statistics,

because there’s someone else eating two [chickens].
