Bees help flowers grow by moving pollen from one flower to another.This is called (pollination).Bees collect nectar from flowers and turn it into honey.They store the honey in the hive to eat during the winter.Bees have six legs,like all insects.They use these legs to collect pollen from flowers.Bees are very busy and can visit up to *100 flowers* in just one trip!.Bees don't live alone.They live in large groups called *colonies*. Each colony has a queen bee, worker bees, and drones.Worker bees gather nectar, make honey, clean the hive, and protect the colony.Bees can tell other bees where to find flowers by doing a *waggle dance*. This dance helps them share directions!.Bees have small hairs on their bodies that help them collect and carry pollen from one flower to another.Bees help produce many of the foods we eat, such as fruits, vegetables, and nuts, by pollinating the plants.
