1. I would place the Era of Good Feelings having Hidden Tensions because nothing ever has complete Harmony and there were a lot of underlying issues in the U.S. at the time. An example of this is The American System because this system made the South really mad and created tensions in the South. One thing that created tensions were the tariffs made from the American System.

Even though the time period was called 'The Era of Good Feelings' there were some sectional tensions that weren't seen on the surface. The movement resulted in the American System, an economic plan thought of by Henry Clay. The West got various roads and forms of transportation and the North got a lot of money due to the new tariffs imposed on international goods. The South didn't get as many benefits from the American system as it became more expensive for plantations to operate and angrered many people in the South.
