Victoria states that people are gathering more inspiration and ideas from the information they gathered online. This claim is very accurate in which there are many specialized tools and mediums that would allow for greater creativity in one's work. Different software like editing software, videos, and much more caused people to create projects that they would never have imagine of creating without the internet. Many artworks, movie videos, and other projects would not have come to be without the introduction of the internet. The internet also provides for a medium to share and promote creativity. With social media, people are constantly seeing new and creative ideas online that would eventually foster the user's own creativity and productivity in a certain project.

I agree with Victoria because inspiration can be taken from the Internet. It is the same thing of going to a museum and getting inspired by an artist's work and creating something similar. Other sources could contribute or hinder creativity like books or television shows. A clarification needs to be made as to what degree of inspiration can be taken in order to differentiate copying from inspiration.

Mao states that the internet is causing him to not be able to concentrate, and the internet has caused him to choose not to think critically. This argument is invalid to the original claim. What Mao is saying is that he chooses to not use the internet, or that he is allowing the internet to affect him. However, this shows that the internet does not hinder his creativity or critical thinking. Instead, what Mao is implies is that he is hindering himself by not choosing to use his critical thinking. Just because the internet is there, he does not need to use it for cheating or searching things up. Mao also states that he is distracted by the internet. However, there are certain actions that one can take to decrease this level of distraction. For example, Mao can mute his phone or manage his notifications. This will cause less notifications and distractions. Mao choosing to not use his own critical thinking is not a direct affect of the internet hindering his skills. Therefore, his argument is invalid.

Like Anna was saying, just because as society we may have become numb or desensitized to values does not mean that we do not believe in or still practice our values. Therefore, the Internet cannot make someone become immoral, it is up to the person decide whether or not they want to succumb to what they see often.

This is very accurate due to the efficiency and functionality in which the internet provides to the user. For example, the internet allows users to stay connected from miles away that they would never have been connected before the digital age. However, in the end, there are many skills that are lost during this form of communication. The internet hides the reality of communication, and it connects people digitally not physically, causing many traditional communication skills and etiquette to slowly diminish.

It allows people from miles away to contact and share ideas with each other which leads to further innovations and improvements in society. It shows that if this technology "crashed" at one point in time, humans would lose their ability to accomplish things they were able to accomplish with it.
