The chain of events in this novel is like a plot twist  because you can predict it, but your prediction won't be right.

The main conflict in this novel is like a family rivalry because the two parties used to be one, but are now torn because one side is evil.

The writing style in this novel is like a rose because it's lovely on the outside, but once you take a look it surprises you that even it has flaws and thorns.

The novel is built (put together) like a frankenstein because it's put together on different time frames, and different pieces add together.
