I knew what I wanted to do

And I put my mind and body to it

I practiced with my friends 

Practiced with my cousin 

And so much more 

Until I started to play it during school

I learned so much things that I didn’t know 

But i’m not going to lie it was really frustrating at first 

Tryouts came around I was so scared

My heart was pounding out of my chest

Because I was thinking that the people here are going to do better than me 

And I wasn't going to make the cut 

The cuts went out I was so terrified but something happened and it changed my life 

I made it  

I couldn’t believe it I was finally satisfied with myself 

I was on a T E A M

And this came with a lot of things 

I had practice everyday 

I was so stressed because I had to deal with homework, and practice 

I felt like I had no time left to do things in life 

But I knew that this is what I wanted to do and I have to accept what this sport comes with   

Until my first game came

I felt like I couldn’t breath any longer

Serving was a very successful for me because I got many points 

But sadly we didn't win and I was ok with that 

Because I knew that we did really good for a first game

Till this day we have came very far 5 wins and 2 lost

And i'm hoping that this sport takes me somewhere far
