         <description><![CDATA[<div>The tribe had been there since the 1700’s. Barona is governed by a General Council, which is comprised of approximately 240 voting members of the tribe. The General Council meets monthly. In addition, there is a Tribal Council comprised of seven elected Tribal officials.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Native Americans as a whole are pretty poor because it says, “This is hardly possible when you consider that unemployment among adult Indians is about 15 percent – roughly three times the national average – and Native Americans remain America’s poorest people.” This is important because people think that Native Americans are gamblers and that can't be possible if they don't have very much money in the first place. Even though they are pretty poor they have been gambling for a very long time and not very much has changed</strong></div>]]></description>
