         <description><![CDATA[<p>Colour wheel</p><p><br></p><p>For an activity like this with the water colours i would grab paper, water colours and a small cup of water so we have all the supplies ready. I would sit with 1 group while another teacher sits with another group so we can help guide them. </p><p>This benefits the older toddlers in many ways it gets their physical domain going and their motor skills.</p><p>This also helps their cognitive domain because they're thinking about what they’re creating or what they’re painting. </p><p><br></p><p>The top painting is wet on wet</p><p>The bottom painting is wet on dry</p><p>Shalyne</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>How would you set-up this activity for toddlers?</p><p>I would gather and set up water colour paper and paint at the table, along with brushes and cups of water. Have the children wear an apron so the paint doesn’t go on their clothing.  Have the children grab a brush and start off with the colour yellow. What benefits would a three year old get from participating in the art activity?</p><p>This will help them memorize the colours as they go along, learning to colour inside the line/circle. Being patient is another thing they can learn.  Also, they could enjoy doing this art activity with other children in the classroom.</p><p>Megan</p>]]></description>
