<title>The right that people will be secure and safe in their persons, houses, papers and effects against unnecessary searches and seizures. No warrants can be allowed unless a a reasonable cause supported by oath or affirmation. No unreasonable search and seizure and need for warrant. Government can&#39;t just go through our stuff and take our stuff and charge us with crime. Search must be reasonable and to be reasonable need a warrant. The courts will determine what is reasonable.

<title>Three ideas: jury, protection of property and self preservation. Double jeopardy- can only be tried once. Grand Jury and double jeopardy tells the government to get ready before accusing a person of a crime. The government only gets to try a person once, so it should prepare its case before that one trial. Jury is a jury of the peers- real people sitting on it. No self incrimination - innocent until proven guilty, therefore they government can make you say that you are guilty against your will. Life, liberty and property cannot be taken without due process of law.

<title>The Ninth Amendment says that If we left something out, if we did make explicit every right a citizen has, this covers those rights not listed. The government cannot infringe on a right just because it was not mentioned in the Bill of Rights. The 9th says that there are other rights beyond those listed in the Constitution. Not all rights are listed in the Bill of Rights that the people will enjoy that are not stated in the Bill of Rights.
