As Christmas comes to near

There’s a lot of holiday spirit and cheer

All the animals escaped the zoo

And no one knew what to do

So they went out to search for them to redeem

But the animals were smarter than they seem

But they had nowhere to go so they came back to the zoo

Ode

Dabbing in numbers to get the solution

That I couldn’t get in my head

284 was the solution it read

Ready for something else to solve

It layed in my hands until the next math problem

I finished the test and turned it in

When I got it back I saw a A on it

All because of my calculator

Which is way easier than solving on a pad of paper

During the day when the sun is up top, it’s loud and big
Crashing against the shore
With children in it who want some more
They jump and dive riding along the waves
But during the night it’s quiet and calm
It stays still and rests
While the moon’s reflection shines upon it
And the people have left

Get on the diving block

Wait for the beep

Once you hear it push off and leap,

Into the water you dive

To swim your first twenty-five

Kick so hard your legs fall off

And that’s when you’ll really takeoff

Pull through against the water

And make sure not to falter

Your near the end and touch the wall

Then look up to see your time

And see that you finished first out of all
