The Art of Letting Go

I find this interesting because we all tend to become a hoarder in our own way. In this video, they touch on the various reasons why we should learn to let go of material things that we tend to say we keep for memories' sake. They used their personal experience as an example, showing us that letting go has got them to how they are today. Personally, I will admit that I am a hoarder. I keep a lot of receipts and ticket stubs because I feel that it holds a lot of memories thus it makes it very hard for me to throw away. They mentioned that memories are within us and not within material things, and that statement is very much true. Their closing statement, ""Love people, use things" not the other way round" teaches us that people add more value to our lives than what we think things do.

How human noise affects ocean habitats

I find this video interesting as it is on how the noise of even a passing ship across Pacific Ocean or oil/gas exploration and extraction can affect ocean habitats. Furthermore, she talked about how climate change is also affecting the ocean habitats due to ice melting which concerns us since we live in the earth. In this video, they also specify that there is also a key part in which we all have a role to play, to reduce climate change and solve this problem.

What makes you special

I like this talk as I come from a family background that isn't what I would say is the usual. My story is one that is different from most and when I was younger, I was picked on for it. This talk made me feel that it is perfectly okay to be different, my differences and imperfections are what makes me special and unique. I especially like the line where she says "Nobody has the claim on the word "normal". We are all different."

The refugee crisis is a test of our character

This talk appealed the most to me as it creates an awareness of the current refugee crisis in the world. It emphasises on the belief that if everyone in the world is willing to lend a helping hand to the refugees, the crisis might come to an end and make life a whole lot better for the them.

the perspective oft the speaker, who is a middle age adult woman, who are usually against video games, talking good about them
