I also like their food. The rice and vegetables are delicious. Kimchi is nice too. I love seeing them dancing the k-pop dance.

I love all of the korean traditional game, food and their korean traditional dress, Hanbok. I think i looked pretty in Hanbok.

This school is very friendly to me and their students are very polite. They all treated me well and knows my name.

My favourite food in korea is Korean honey cookies they were very good I asked for more when I've finished it .

Some people give gave me souvenirs like candies, cakes and so many more.

I never knew Korean traditional games were so fun, my favourite one is yutnori

I loved the part where we have to throw the sticks across the room, it was very fun .

The rest of the games were fun too like tug of war, hula hoop and kpop dances and so many more .

I cannot help but mention about how clean this school was especially the toilet its very clean. I felt so comfortable in this school

We also visited Haksa Elementary School . I was astonished of how clean the school is . It was very different in Malaysia . The school is very modern and futuristic . I realized when I entered the toilet , the lights switch on automatically . Moreover the toilet was squeaky clean . The students are highly disciplined and they consistently showed respect for their teachers . Their manners always impress me .

As you can see my buddy is one of it in the class photo , if I wasn’t mistaken , her named was Sohee, Yeeun and Sieun . They were very kind and polite to me . They helped me a lot when I’m at the school . We created many memories there , we gave presents to each others and took many photos together . I’m so glad to be friends with them , I hope that our friendship will last forever .

Me and my little sister , Sakinah was placed with foster parents . The foster mother was a wonderful person . They had two children named Han and Seoul . They were very talkative and very toughtful . They gave us many information about Korea .

Overall , this Cultural Exchange Programme involves the sharing of ideas , values , traditions and other aspects of culture among people from different backgrounds .

Okay, back to the museum. I saw really cool sharks and stingrays. And also fish. I saw a Banded hound shark and a Zebra shark!! They looked so cutee :3 And, I got tons of photos of the museum. And, there was this cool projector where I saw an animation of the animals of the ocean! For example, I saw a whale shark, hammerhead shark and a great white shark! And did you know, that the whale shark is the largest shark ever? And I saw belugas and all other sea animals. And, I saw moon jellyfish!! They were also soo cute!! And I also saw a pregnant seahorse. Did you know that the male seahorses are the ones who get pregnant?

Okay, I’m done for now. I really enjoyed the trip and learning about Korean culture and going to their school. I hope to go again in the future.

gave us a lot of fruits.

My host sister (Yeseo) and her friends and me did a photoshoot together! It was so much fun.

When we exchange gifts,our host sisters gift was amazing! And her friends gift were

amazing too! Yeseo’s classmates were so kind too. They gave me some snacks and

it is delicious. My host family also bought

me to a cool museum ! It had a lot of history and was so much fun!

The warmth and hospitality extended by our Korean counterparts contributed significantly to the overall joyous atmosphere. Beyond the formalities, the camaraderie built during shared meals and extracurricular activities added a genuine touch to the exchange, creating an environment filled with laughter and shared moments of happiness.

I must express my sheer delight in experiencing Korean cuisine. The diverse array of flavors, textures, and aromas made every meal a delightful adventure. The culinary aspect of the exchange program added an extra layer of joy, creating a shared experience that transcended cultural differences.

In conclusion, the Malaysia-Korea teachers and students exchange programme were not only professionally enriching but also filled with moments of pure joy. The next stop which is ,Busan was fun too because the host family were so nice, we went to an amusement park, beach and a temple it was so fun!!

Haksa Elementary School is also fun,i made lots of friends and the school is clean and big. I had a really great experience in South Korea and I hope i can visit there again some day💗

Our first day at Gabuk Elemntary School made me at awe looking the how this school is. With the small number of students and teachers, their school is well equipped with all the modern technology and facilities. Oh my... I am awed.

Look at the kitchen of their canteen. I wish Malaysian school canteen can be like this one day😏. Super clean and well managed.

There's a long list if I were to share about this awesome school. One of the things I like most is how high- tech the facilities at their school.

From the Principal office, there is one big monitor and the Principal can make announcement/ prize giving ceremony only at the Principal office and the whole school can watch at their respective locations.

Their students can really engage a dynamic educational experience, access cutting-edge resources and stay updated with technology and trends!! I am amazed ❤️❤️

I hope many Malaysian students and teachers join the Cultural Exchange Program as this program really inspired us!!

I also love my interaction with student's from Haksa Elementary and Gabuk Elementary. The student's are very nice to me and they treat me well. I love thier school food and the student's would always give me candy and help me if I am clueless. The school activities with the students are very fun and interesting. I love my trip to Korea and I hope I can meet them all again some day.

It's far from what I've known and seen in the media which only showcase Seoul.

There are a lot of hidden gems in Korea, and Geochang is definitely on of it. When I went on top of the mountain to see the view from up there, I was in awe. The landscape was absolutely breathtaking. I could see the river flow from up there. It was beautiful. Definitely one of my most memorable moments there.

And then, we went to Busan. The streets of Busan are so clean even though there are a lot of people there. And so is Haksa Elementary School, their toilets are very clean.

My favourite part from all of these are the food. I'm so jealous of their school lunches. It is so healthy and filling. I wish we have that in Malaysia too :P

I'm very grateful for my host family. I've had a lot of fun with them. On the first day, we went to Jung Gu to see the big Christmas tree lights. We also went to take some photos at a photo booth. The next day, my brother went to play soccer with Nohyeon and his father. Later that evening, we went to Webtoon Street and went to a book cafe. I got to learn the process of webtoon-making.

My host parents makes the best food. I think I've been the healthiest for the 6 days in Korea than the 14 years in Malaysia (just kidding). They can speak good English and there was no communication problem. They are very open-minded and it seems they've done research on what my brother and I can and can't eat. I am very grateful for them.

I also want to thank Nahyeon and Nohyeon, our host siblings. They are the sweetest. We played a lot of games such as Rummikube, Halli Galli, Mario Party, and chess. They helped me a lot during my stay there. And they wrote us a letter and gave us gifts, which is very kind of them.

My Korean friends in Haksa Elementary are very friendly and kind too! I had lots of fun playing Yutnori and making the Korean traditional fan. They are very funny ><

I want to thank the teachers especially Mr. Park for giving us a chance to experience the Korean school-life.

I'd definitely love to go again next time.

The host family treated me greatly, their warm hospitality made me feel like I'm at home. They have two lovely daughters, Bomin and Bora. They always keep me entertained even at home! We watched movies together and did some art and craft. The host mum and dad are also very nice and kind, they brought us to try their local market and we visited the musuem at Geongju about the ancient kings and queens' cemetery, the cemetery is huge! The host mum also cooked great food for our breakfast and dinner, she is like a profesional chef! They all treat me well as their family member. I can't wait to be back in Busan.

       Setinggi ucapan tahniah dan penghargaan kepada Puan Ong Bee Bee penyelaras program IFCC di atas  jemputan  ke Program  “The 12 th  International  Friendship  and Cultural Camp ALCOB network Project.”

       Pelbagai memori  indah dapat dicipta  bersama pelajar,guru dan waris sepanjang program berjalan  dari 15 hingga 20 Disember 2023.Lawatan  ke Gabuk Elementary School memberi saya inspirasi di dalam anjakan paradigma  Pendidikan dan kehidupan .

           Aktiviti  permainan tradisional seperti jegichagi (shuttlecock),ddakji(paper squid game) dan paeng chigi   (wooden spinning)menghiburkan  kami  setelah letih perjalanan dari Busan ke Geochang.Pelbagai juadah  makanan  korea seperti  yakwa,bibmbap, tteokboki,kimbap dan bungeoppang disediakan oleh guru  Korea kepada kami.

       Pengalaman yang mengujakan ialah mendaki  Bukit Hwangsil di Wicheon  serta menuruni  lurah dan merentasi sungai melalui jambatan  yang  ketinggian 800 meter merentasi Sungai  Wigang amat mencabar kerana salji baru turun.Terdapat banyak  juga batu di Sungai  yang dikenali sebagai  “Suengdae”. Suengdae  bermaksud pemandangan  yang indah.Banyak terdapat  batu berbentuk kura – kura sepanjang kami meneruni cerun bukit.Yosujeng  pavilion   adalah  tempat istirehat dan berlindung ketika cuaca sejuk amat cantik dan berbentuk klasik.

         Tuntasnya,program ini amat memberi manfaat kepada kami dan aktiviti yang dijalankan  menjadi inspirasi kepada kehidupan mendatang .

    Banyak lagi catatan  saya  akan coretkan  dalam buku travelog  saranghae Kimci ….

I would like to thank Pn Ong and Miss Lyn for giving me the opportunity in this wonderful and memorable journey. This is my first time going to Korea. I found that Gabok Elementery School and Haksa Elementary school are very special in their way, good environment and facilities. The Korean students were well trained in using the toilets and maintain the cleanliness.

Teachers and pupils were so friendly. They warmed welcome us and prepared good activities among the students. I was very excited to see students' participation during the opening ceremony. They were very talented in playing music, singing and dancing.

We also had a great time, enjoyed the beautiful places and sceneries in Geochang and Busan. Thanks again Pn Ong  for having us and you did it very well.

         Saya mendapat pelbagai pengalaman di Geochang seperti salji  mula turun  ketika lawatan di sana serta  mempelajari permainan tradisional dan makanan korea yang sedap ketika di sekolah Gabuk Elementary School serta pemandangan yang cantik di Wicheon  .

     Haksa  Elementary School sangat bersih,kondusif dan mengembirakan kerana terdapat pelbagai aktiviti seperti kebudayaan,permainan yunnori serta  aktiviti muzik dan nyanyian.

     Bilik sains dan perpustakaan  cukup kemas dan tersusun .Padang bola juga sangat luas dan bersih untuk aktiviti bersukan . Bilik darjah yang dilengkapi computer serta smart board LED TV untuk pembelajaran  pelajar.Penggunaan canva dan Ai telah digunakan di dalam pembelajaran.

      Aktiviti riadah seperti  Hanudae Beach,Sagdo Ocean Cable car serta Busan  Traditional Culture Centre  memberi pengalaman bermakna.

I unexpectedly saw snow at Geochang mountain, creating a winter wonderland like a postcard. It made me appreciate the beauty of Korea.

Additionally, this trip marked my first encounter with Korean classmates. Despite the language barrier, they were incredibly friendly and playful, making me feel included in school life. The inability to communicate flawlessly did not hinder our friendship; we remained connected and in touch.

Furthermore, my host family, consisting of two daughters, offered me an in-depth understanding of local lifestyle and culture. Our explorations included visits to a Korean local market, a historical cemetery, a bird park, and indulging in delicious Korean cuisine.

In conclusion, this exchange program provided me with a brief but immersive experience of a real Korean winter and its rich culture.
