8.00 – 8.30 

 

Starting point: Jakob talks with the pupils about senses: Which senses do we have? They discuss the experiments they did last week. Discussing the results, and all together they put the conclusions on etwinning right after. (Jakob)

 

Some other animals use their senses slightly different than we do. Examples we could discuss: The dogs hearing sense and sense of smell. Bats ability to catch insects without being able to see…..(Mika)

(8.15 Anders arrives with 10 rainbow trouts) 

 

8.30 – 9.30 

How does fish use their senses: Anders tells about the lateral line system. Pupils are dissecting rainbow trout: Looking at the lateral line system, the eyes and the brain. (Anders bring 10 rainbow trout and all equipment needed for ten small groups, Jakob books the science lab). (Anders)

 

(9.30-11.30 Anders is at UCN to give information about science subject for new students).

 

9.30-10.00 

The groups are taking pictures, videos, maybe macro-pictures, writing conclusions about the rainbow trout and everything is put on etwinning right after (Jakob and Mika)

 

10.00 

Skype meeting with Hilde (Jakob)

 

10.30-11.30

How does fish use their senses: Experiment with cavefish and orientation. Afterwards we are discussing how the fish was able to find one´s way through the labyrinth. Put a short video on etwinning right after, (choose someone to explain the video, a teacher asking questions, and so on). (Mika)

 

 

12.15-14.30

Analyze information from Norway (supersenses, macropictures….) discuss about the new topic and find a way of expressing trough art (video, performance, play) The final result is put on etwinning right after (Jakob, Mika, Anders)
