From this Leadership Conference, we met people with the same drive and passion to help others from all over the united States. It was refreshing and inspiring to see so many others out there with their project tailored to their communities whether rural or urban. No matter the issues, we were all there to learn from each other. I have taught 2nd, 4th, 6th, adult ed, after school tutoring and kindergarten is my favorite. I live in Poplar, California which is a small, rural community in which I serve as the treasurer fort he Community Services District Board, where the school is also located. I have three daughters ages 16, 19, and 23. I also have 2 dogs.
