I chose this image to represent what I learned about the four sons of Horus. Hapy the baboon head, Duamutef jackal head, Quebehsenuef the falcon head, and Imsety the human head. These heads would protect and hold certain parts of the body. Hapy would protect the lungs, Duamutef would protect the stomach, Quebehsenuef protected the intestines, Imsety protected the liver.

The image that you see here is a mummy inside a coffin this showed what I learned about mummification. The coffin and the mummy showed how the Egyptians believed in the afterlife. This is important because the Egyptians would use this for people who have passed away and are going to the afterlife. The body is wrapped in hundreds yards of linen and placed inside is all the essential needs for the afterlife such as the amulet headdress this was placed so that your head was supported forever.

This image shows a Shabtis. Shabtis are little figures that would work instead of their mistress or master. The idea behind this was that the Egyptians believed the after life is like the Egyptian life. There was a lot of work to be done at home or in the fields.
