Mary's husband is to blame for what happened. Mary should not have gone that far but he caused pain to Mary and told he he was leaving her. I don't think Mary meant to kill her husband I think she was acting irrational in a time of distress. Even though it was Mary's husbands fault, I don't think her actions were warranted. He did cause suffering to her but that is no need to kill.

Her actions throughout the story are confusing because when it first happens she doesn't really know what is going on then later it all kind of hits her. But in the end when she giggles at the people for eating the lamb, she knows she is safe and she does not feel remorse.

In the story mary's husband was not to blame for his murder. yes, he should not have told her when and the way he did but he didn't think she would literally kill him. I think she wanted to kill him but when she hit him i don't think her thought was let me kill him. i didn't think she should have killed him.

I think that her husband was definitely part of the reason of her killing him. But there is a little suspicion that she was mean to kill him because the way he treated her was building up in her and she couldn't take it anymore and she saw a way to finally get rid of that pain.
