INTRODUCTION of OUR SCHOOL

Our school is located in Ovaeymir District, Aydın Türkiye. We are an ‘Imam Hatip’ Secondary School, that is, our students are given both academic and religious education. We have 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade classes in our school. Our school has participated in Etwinning projects before, so we are accustomed to working cooperatively and sharing new information blended with different cultural values. Our school aims to help create responsible individuals who give importance to core values and being a good citizen. We also have cultural and sportive activities as well as academic education. We have two foreign languages in our school, English and Arabic. Our Etwinning student group is composed of 6th grade students aged between 12-13. They are so eager to cooperate in this useful Project.

Milena Angelovska - Toli Zordumis- primary school

Primary school “Toli Zordumis” consists of one central school building and one satellite school building situated in a nearby village Rezanoctse. We have students from different nationalities: Macedonian, Albanian, Roma, Serbian and Bosnian. We are one of the few bilingual schools in North Macedonia, and our students study in their mother tongues (Albanian or Macedonian language). The education level that our school covers is 1st to 9th grade (6-14 years of age). We have 75 teachers and around 500 pupils each year.

Our school mission is to provide creative development of our students and continuous professional development for our teachers. We promote honesty, tolerance, understanding and human values among teachers, students and parents respecting and nurturing different cultural values.

Our school vision is to have educational environment that follows modern trends, provides education and conditions for the continued individual development of all teachers and students.

Hello, welcome to our school. Immediately to the right of the entrance is the pre-school, while on the left are our canteen, Year 1 classrooms, special education classroom and toilets. When we go up the stairs to the first floor, the deputy headteacher's office is directly opposite us. On the right side of the corridor, you will find the other deputy headteacher's office, the technical services office, the teachers' room, and the kitchen. On the left side of the floor, you will find the headteacher's office and classrooms. When you go up to the second floor, you will find the guidance counselling service directly opposite you. This floor also has classrooms and toilets. On the third floor of our school, there is a second guidance counselling service next to the classrooms. Finally, when we go up to the top floor, we find our library, one of our favourite areas of the school. It contains dozens of books of all kinds, suitable for all ages. On the ground floor of our school, there is a meeting room and an exhibition area.
