Joining one of the programs can teach them which websites are trustworthy, and which ones that are just trying to persuade you.

Because not everything on the Internet is true. So if more kids join literacy programs they'll know which websites are not lying about what there saying. There was a girl in 5th grade that believed everything she read but she joined a literary program and now she knows what websites are just trying to persuade you.
