Leadership can be achieved without fear. The idea of leadership begins with motivation. Motivation and direction given to a group of people can accomplish goals. These goals fulfill the needs that might be required for achieving task fear is an emotion that makes people feel threatened. This is counter-productive when trying to achieve goals. Fear may make a person feel they need to avoid the task. 

1. Both of these texts describe traditions that are passed along through generations. In the scarlet letter, the tradition is humiliation and drawing attention to hester. The author presents the story using symbolism in the form of a rose and a prison door. The rose represents hope while the prison door represents doom. In the lottery text, the tradition passed on is the drawing of papers from the box. In this text the author uses foreshadowing and irony.

I am a creative soul...and very hardworking might I add. I believe I am "over carer", meaning I care way to much about everything. Im passionate about the activities I indulge in and the people in my life.  I have this strong urge to be successful in whatever Im working at and I want to be at the top. I believe that the experiences I went through with my parents as a child helped shape me into who I am today. So the trauma that I experienced does have some pros and cons. My  "over caringness" (for lack of better words) is something I believe to be a pro and a con, depending on what the subject is of course. I could go into detail but im not lol.
