I learned that you can't get rid of anger but you can control it. Like when in the beginning of the book Cole was always being angry but when he went to the circle justice he learned how to control it. At first the book started out pretty boring to me and violent, but then when Cole was in circle justice on the island with Edwin and Garvey trying to control his anger and let go of his feelings, the book started to become interesting and fun to listen to.

This book is pretty neat, not gonna lie. It's rare to see me saying good things about books like these. [Can you explain more?]
It's pretty unusual for books like these to really stand out, but I must say this book really caught my attention at first glance. With the fact that I can see/imagine this kind of thing happening in real life, it lets me connect to certain moments in the book. One thing in specific is that you can't control your anger or get rid of it, and people say or do things because it's the only thing they've seen happen in certain situations, so then they take that and use it in their actions when that moment comes around for them.

This book taught me that being angry is giving someone else your feelings so they can control you, and I liked the part about the stick were the right end was your happiness and the left end is your anger, and Cole had to break off the left end but anger never goes away but you can control it. I liked how the book changed between hate and happiness and that Cole changed out through the book and I think Peter will to.

I personally was amused by some of the lessons in this book, especially the whole 'life is a hotdog' because I never really expected there would be such an important lesson that would have 'hotdog' in it. I also liked how in the last chapter, Cole didn't fight back when Peter was assaulting him. Reading that scene kinda surprised me since I never expected Peter to act in such a way. Usually I would expect him to just walk quietly to the pond with Cole but NOPE! I'm glad they made up afterwards though because if they didn't, I would've been REALLY confused. Even though I didn't pick the book out, I really enjoyed it as if I DID pick it out. I really hope that I can read another book like it.
THE END

Touching Spirit Bear was an interesting book to read. When we first started reading the book, I didn't care for it's story, but when it ended, I saw that it was an interesting book to learn lessons from. My favorite part was when Peter finally let his anger and suicidal thoughts about Cole leave, and forgave and trusted him. o~o

toooooooo mmmmmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuucccchhhhhhhWell, I didn't expect the book to go through so many plot twists. I thought the book would be lke the "happy type" of book, but it turns out thats TSB is much much more than that. Like for example, lets say Cole is angry and gets rid of his anger easily, but it turns out that it's much more complicated then that. Cole has to go through all that expirience and everything that happened on the island just for letting his anger out and letting it control him. Then Cole learns many valuable lessons from animals and hotdogs. We know that we can relate to the book, EVERYONE should be able to relate to the book. We all know that we have did something like Cole or even TRIED or THOUGHT of bashing or punching or using your fists. But before you think of doing that, try thinking about the consequences, but it's still an amazing book, very discriptive. Sadly, its THE END of the book. #reallyenjoyedthebook.
