"Old Saturn" — oil — Inspired from studying ten lectures (Helsinki, April 1912) published under the title "The Spiritual Beings in the Heavenly Bodies and in the Kingdoms of Nature." (This was with Beredene Jocylene's study group, at 211 Madison Avenue, in NYC.)

The painting appeared in my imagination: the battle between light and darkness had already begun, in this first incarnation of the Earth, and light won.

She "lent us her inner life" with a minimal visual vocabulary of line and tone.
