I really enjoyed this session! I'd really like to teach use Kahoot, Ditty and create a blog to track the progress of my students and share their learning! I think using mini whiteboards if there aren't IPads is a way to weave technology into the classroom! Thank you :)

Ditty and the pic collage to help make worksheet/revision aids

Really good to hook all the pupils even if you don't have enough iPads

If you have a school that encourages technology, then it opens doors to things and apps like this which are much more "fun", despite it being the same work, it's something different. This may diloute the fun and make it into the same boring work if it's used too often

Great for starters and plenaries.

Like 'Ditty', but would need a device to use the app.

Like plickers for smaller classes and as a tool for AfL.

PS, kahoot is great (perhaps a tad biased as we won...!)

If technology is available it is worth using. The parents are able to view their child's feedback and what they are doing on an average school day. The clickers are good for big classes, instead of whiteboards for AFL. All work is saved

Great for assessment for learning! Downside is subjects, as for subjects such as secondary History it would be difficult to organise. Similarly, all of these apps can only work if iPads are readily available at the school we are based at.
