Koroneihana

As I walked through the gates I can hear a deep voice speaking. We have arrived at  Turangawaewae Marae the home of Kingi Tuheitia. The People are seated and our class is keeping an eye on our teacher so we know what to do. We are here to experience the culture and Customs about the people of Tainui and the Kingitanga.


On Monday our School went to the Koroneihana in Ngaruawahia. The trip links to our topic about "Where we belong" and the Kingitanga relates to this kaupapa.
