Did you know that particle model theory is happening right now? You must be wondering what is particle model theory and what happens to it. Its pretty straight forward. To start with the basics particle model theory is basically another word to say Kinetic theory of matter. All the matter in kinetic theory consists many very tiny particles (Atom's, molecules, or ions) . In other words they are constantly in or in a state of motion. In all the substances of kinetic theory is made up of millions of tiny particles we cannot see with our naked eye. These particles have little or lots of empty space's in between them. The substances of kinetic theory is three simple properties. Solid, liquid, and gas. These three particles of matter helps scientists explain many resources about the world around us. To make it clear particle theory was developed over many centuries, and explains what matter is made of. (Tiny particles with spaces between them) Particles are always moving. The more energy they have the faster they move.

      Did you know particles attract each other, so they stay together instead of flying apart?

As explained in the other page kinetic theory consists of three special proporties which is solid, liquid, and gas.
- In a solid the particles are packed closely together in ordered rows. The only movement solid has is vibration around a fixed position.
- In a liquid the particles are still close but unlike a solid they are randomly arranged anywhere. So this means that the particles are free to move but only around each other.
- In a gas the particles are far apart but randomly arranged. The particles are free to move in any direction, and do move quickly.
Did you know these three types of matter are everywhere?
</sub>

What happens when you heat it, or it evaporates, and when it boils?

Particle theory also explains that the tiny particles in matter are attracted to each other. For example:

Liquid:
 - When a liquid solidifies/ or in other words boils to a solid the liquids particles energy decreases and turns to a solid because a solid's particles are very slow, and close together. That's what happens to the liquid when it got heated/boiled. It gets together, and only vibrates, like a solid.
- When a liquid evaporates/ boils to a gas the energy from the liquids particles increases, and turns into a gas. Reason being the particles in a gas are apart and very fast so the liquid is now called a gas, because it get's expanded.
Solid :
- When a solid melts to a liquid the particles from the solid's energy increases, and turns to a liquid. This occurs because a liquids particles have lots of energy in them and can move anywhere. When a solid melts it acts like a liquid, so it has energy to move around.
Gas:
- When a gas condenses to a liquid the particles from the gas decreases. You may be saying a liquid does not have less energy? But if you compare the gases particles energy to the liquids particle energy the gases particle energy is much more greater. So its going to make a big difference from the liquids particles. So it decreases.
 Did you know particles move faster, and spread apart when heated?

When heat is added to a substance, the molecules and atoms vibrate faster like a solid in the other paper. When the atoms vibrate faster, the space that is between atoms increases. The motion and spacing of the particles is depending on the state of matter of the substance. According to the particle theory, There are many different kinds of particles. The differences between the particles cause the substances that contain them to have different properties.
