The nurse recommended keeping a balanced diet, Affordable food options include, grains, fruits, and veggies. Beans and lentils are affordable to provide carbs and a good source of protein for mom and baby. Affordable dairy products include yogurt and milk. Government care covers prenatal and the food mom and baby need. I encourage pt to go to local support groups that include other moms in the same position. It is also encouraged that pt research into government care. To get the care she can.
