Aguanta surname is in my blood. I was born in Asturias Cebu during the year 2003 in April 21. My parents gave me a beautiful name which is "April Mae", now I am now 20 years old. I grew strong and helpful here in Asturias town together with my not so big family and I am proud of it! We are 7 siblings and I am the 6th daughter, 3 of them are boys and 4 of us are girls. I am currently a second year college student. I took up Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Food Preparation and Services Technology(FPST). I am in the dean's list since in my first year and hoping for today's year.

My hobbies are my stress therapy. I like joining pageants before, I even joined dance contest during my high school days. I love to sing but I am afraid or shy to showcase it in public. I also love to read english books or english stories. I have this proudest moment way back in 2015 when I am the representative in my home town Asturias during an Extemporaneous Speaking contest together with my supportive mother. Graduating with flying colors is one achievement that I can really be proud of.

One of the challenges I faced in life is having a family at an early age but glory to God he gave me a responsible husband which makes my life comfortable. The challenge that I can never forget is the challenge that other people is expecting, a force to bring out the best in me that I am afraid to fail them. But these challenges shaped me how to be strong and taught me a lesson, a lesson that I should not live my life the way others is expecting or wanted. My goal is to finish my studies, prove others that I can even though I am already a mom and to make my family proud.

No one knows me better than myself, others may see me as a quiet or shy person but its fun to think that in my closest friends I am clingy, and very talkative. I laugh loudly but only when I am with my true friends.

Life is full of struggles we must accept the challenge in order for us to live the life we ever wanted because I do believe that life is not a problem to be solved but a gift to be enjoyed.

My biggest influence is my parents. My parents' hardwork serves as my inspiration in pursuing my dreams. My family is the one main reason why I remained strong and brave enough in facing big waves. Pursuing my dreams is not just for me but for my family specially my son.
