Athlete is an important trait because the textual evidence from the book "Hoot" is telling me that Beatrice is an athlete which will give Beatrice the ability to be strong and protect herself and her stepbrother Mullet Fingers. Beatrice has changed with her ability of strength through out the book.her strength is also giving her confidence in her self to save the owls through out the book.

Beatrice is very polite to others and thoughtful by apologizing to her friends when she does something that shes not a post do do or if she does something that she doesn't think is wrong to do but could hurt there feelings. Beatrice has changed through out this book with her thoughtfulness and politeness because in the beginning of the book she pinned Roy to the wall and forced him to do stuff but when Mullet Fingers became discovered in the book he has been changing Beatrice attitude around.

Setting

The setting takes place in Coconut Cove, Florida. Roy moved here from Montana and he is having a hard time because he misses Montana and his old home. If there was no Coconut Cove or Construction site, then a lot of the details would not have happened because a lot of the events happen at the construction site. The setting effects the events in the novel by having a home for the owls to live. The home that the owls live in is an area of woods. The construction site was planning to make houses and take down all the trees in the owls homes. Then Roy heard about the construction site taking down the area of trees and asked Mullet Fingers and Beatrice to help him save the owls from this travesty.

Inference 1: If Beatrice's perspective was told in the book instead of Roy's then I wouldn't get to know what Roy feels like when Beatrice Bullied him. If Beatrice's perspective was told in the book then I also feel like us readers would get to know Mullet Fingers better because Roy didn't really get to know him.

Inference 2: If Mullet Fingers perspective was told in the book instead of Roy's then us readers would know how Mullet Fingers feels about other people and how he likes to live. We would also know about what he likes and the people he loves. If Mullet Fingers perspective was told in the book "Hoot" then we wouldn't know the feelings Roy has for Mullet Fingers. and what Roy thinks about Mullet Fingers.

Inference 3: If we had Mullet Fingers perspective we would know why he ran away on chapters 21-Epilogue more than Roy new. us readers would also know why Lonna lied to the cops . she said to the cops that Mullet Fingers stole an idem when it wasn't him because Lonna got irritated that Mullet Fingers was running all over the place all the time.
