Step 4: Writing the Story in a Chain Format

• School 2 continues the story, adding twists and new characters.

• Each school adds a new section, passing it along like a "story chain."

• Teachers ensure coherence and smooth transitions between sections.

Step 5: Illustrating the Story

• Each school creates drawings, digital art, or collages for their part.

• Optional: Some students can narrate their sections as voice recordings.

• All contributions are compiled into a digital book using tools like Book Creator, Canva, or Google Slides.

• Teachers review for grammar, coherence, and visual consistency.

Step 7: Creating an Optional Animated Version

• If desired, students can use Animaker, Powtoon, or Stop Motionto animate parts of the story.

Step 8: Final Presentation & Celebration

• The final book is published on TwinSpace, school websites, or an eTwinning blog.

• A virtual meeting is held where students present their work and share reflections.

• Students give feedback on their experience (via a Padlet wall or Google Forms).

• They discuss what they learned and their favorite parts of the project.

Step 10: Certificates & Closing

• Students receive digital certificates for their participation.

• Teachers discuss possible future collaborations.

Taking part in the Story Chain project was a really fun and meaningful experience for me. At first, I wasn’t sure how it would go, since I had never written a story with other people before. But as we started working together, I realized how creative and exciting it can be to build a story as a team.

I enjoyed seeing how each student added their own ideas and imagination to the story. It was interesting to see how the plot changed and grew with every new part. Sometimes it was challenging to continue from where the previous person left off, but it helped me improve my writing and thinking skills.

This project also taught me the importance of teamwork and respecting others' ideas. I learned to listen carefully, be more open-minded, and think creatively. It made writing more enjoyable and helped me feel more confident about sharing my own work.

Overall, the Story Chain project was not only educational but also a lot of fun. I would love to do something like this again!

For the first time, I felt like my imagination actually mattered. I wasn’t just writing for a grade — I was writing to continue something someone else started. That was both exciting and a little scary. What if my part didn’t make sense? Or what if others didn’t like it? But once I saw how everyone added their own style, I felt more relaxed.

I loved seeing the story change with each student’s input. Some parts made me laugh, others surprised me, and it made the whole thing feel alive. It wasn’t always easy — sometimes I stared at the screen not knowing how to begin — but in the end, I felt proud.

What stayed with me the most wasn’t just the writing, but the teamwork. We didn’t talk face-to-face much, but through the story, we were all connected. I saw how different minds can build something really creative together.

Now, I feel more confident about writing and sharing my ideas. I’d definitely join another project like this — not because I have to, but because I want to.
