This may lead to students refusing to attend Drexel and contribute to pointless investment alongside a loss in student tuition. We would need to talk to all three other stakeholders in order to move forward with this plan in the safest way possible. Furthermore, we discussed that the shared goals of the community members would be to appeal to the higher administration and convince them to not close down the community center as it benefits the community in getting better education, having after-school care, etc. Although, this will not be an easy task as the higher authorities have already considered closing down the community center. If we were to have a conversation with another group regarding this conflict, it would most likely be the Drexel Administration. We would do as much to conserve the community center as we could. If the center was to be shut down and bought by a private company, that would decrease the value of all of the adjacent properties. Our goal as a real estate company is to sell property to the people of the community and without selling points like a community center, it would be difficult to do this. It will probably be difficult for our group to get what we want because as the prompt states, the community center has already made the decision to shut down. Shared goals would be to prevent the shutdown of the center since it helps the community receive higher education and better careers. They will lose connections with people they know from the center and also lose the resources to help them succeed such as education. It will be difficult since they want to shut it down. The resources they have are protesting and they could raise money. Conflicts could be not being able to raise enough money or giving up. That we (the admin) should work together with the community to establish a common ground so we can both "expand" or "better" community. For example, they may let us get a new building but in addition to that we also give them a community center.
