         <title>Creating Brave Spaces &amp; CoPs:  Disrupting Implicit Bias in Early Care and Education</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This module series provides 12 hours of interactive learning (+10 hours CoP) with concrete activities, reflection tools, and printable resources that support and extend the learning experience.&nbsp; Virtual hosts will guide participants through their learning experience, which includes videos from research experts as well as family child care and center-based educators from across California.&nbsp; <strong>Module lessons are designed to be approximately 30 minutes long, and participants need to complete each module via CECO website </strong><a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.caearlychildhoodonline.org/"><strong>https://www.caearlychildhoodonline.org/</strong></a><strong> before attending each Community of Practice (CoP).</strong>&nbsp; Participants will earn a certificate of completion for nine professional development clock hours when they complete the full module series. They will also receive 10 PD clock hours for attending the CoPs.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Learners who complete this module series will build on existing strengths and be able to</p><p>●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; As early childhood educators create safe places for learning and play for children, they must simultaneously implement self-care routines to maintain low stress levels. Participants discover the fact that they cannot serve from an empty vessel. During our time together, participants will learn to use intentional restorative strategies to develop on-going mindfulness practices and self-care plans.
