Fungi get their energy mostly from breaking down dead material and getting their nutrients from them.<br>-How many species of Cordyceps are there?<br>600<br>-Where are most Cordyceps found?<br>They grow out of ants head, and those ants mostly are from tropical rainforests.<br>-Make a connection between Sars-CoV2 and Cordyceps.<br>These ants have learned ways to prevent themselves from getting their diseases or to protect their colonies from it. They have acts of self-sacrifice and other ways so it won't spread quickly. Like us we wear masks and perform ways for us to not get Covid.</div>]]></description>

Humans do the same by learning to wash their hands, social distance, and wear masks. Ants and humans are both protecting themselves and others. Both Sars-CoV2 and Cordyceps infect all that it comes across and we have to do our part and adapt so that we can prevent the spread.</div>]]></description>

Ants also have this thing where like us, basically wash their hands and maintain hygiene in order to prevent getting infected. There are also things like ants spraying poison in their nests to act as fungicides, and there's us spraying decontamination sprays to prevent ourselves from being infected.</div>]]></description>

Ants have also found ways to try to protect their colonies from the parasite while humans have tried to do their part to prevent Sars-CoV2  from infecting their neighbors and friends. (wearing masks, social distancing washing hands, etc.) Similarly, Cordyceps infect everything it comes in contact with much like Sars-CoV2.</div>]]></description>
