At the same time, systems thinking make us aware that there are no perfect solutions; the choices we make will have an impact on other parts of the system. By anticipating the impact of each trade-off, we can minimize its severity or even use it to our own advantage. Teacher also explain on how the supply and demand chain. Here I actually gained a lot and it also help me to think more deep.

For discussion in class, we have talked about the supply an demand chain of plastics. The production of plastic is kept continuing due to the high demand for plastic and the high profit that the government has gained. What i have gained from these weeks is society still does not realize how small actions can impact the future. Therefore, from the discussion, I slowly stopped using plastic straw in my daily life. I will refuse to take straw when buying outside drink. I will bring my own usable metal straw that I bought.

Yes, I said before the debate began, because Islam is a complete guidance in our lives. However, by the end of the debate, I recognized that we live in a corrupt society where bribery is the norm, political power abuse is accepted, and having a federal constitution as our legislation is required. Yes, Islam is a solution for preserving the environment, and Islam is a way of life, but we regard Islam as a choice. We include Islam into our religious practises.  I realized that we are still silo, doing nothing, we just follow those who have power that can give us benefits and fulfill our self-interest. 

The following week, we had presentation in group and my group has choose to talk about corruption in construction. This presentation actually helps me discover a lot of things as we need to read and watch video. My partner in Nurul Najwa and we have decided to talk about the increasing demand of cigarettes in Malaysia, which is not a new social problem anymore. The demand of the cigarettes keep increasing and even the price quite high, people still keep buying it. 
At the expense of society, the economy, and the environment, cigarettes benefit each player. I expected restrictions to discourage smoking, but they haven't worked because cigarette smuggling is rampant in our country. People who are willing to pay all taxes and levies, even if the government and suppliers know it is bad for their health.

From this, I have take an action to share the disadvantages of smoking to people near me especially my family who is smoking. I realize that before it is too late, I need to start the change. My group proposed 2 idea and only one is accepted by teacher. Oh, also teacher gave some idea in improvising the idea and make it more clear since the project on sustainable need to be clear and including all the aspects of sustainable which are environment, economic and social. I learnt a lot while doing this project, started from braistorming idea but that is what things look like when we are thinking. Our thinking with other people might be different but does not mean all of that are wrong. We need just learn to accept other's people advice and opinion. Not to forget, when my group went to consult with Teacher Azreen, I got a sachet of coffee from her.
