Doodle Together looks like a fun activity. I like activities that introverts and extrovert can equally enjoy.

Excited looks like a fun activity. I like a comment someone left saying they use the letters to spell the topic of the presentation and then have them reflect on how they could use this activity with their students when introducing a new concept to get the class engaged.

Sync Claps looks like a great way to engage the entire group and the group has to be focused for the pattern to continue around the circle.

I could get lost for hours looking at databases like this! I'm giving myself a time limit today and going with Alien, Tiger, Cow...because who doesn't like Rock, Paper, Scissors with a variation. It also seems like adding some sounds to Rock, Paper, Scissors like this does as you act out Alien, Tiger, or Cow could incite quite a few laughs to get a PD started with smiles and positive energy.

Doodle together is one that I like. It seems very simple to use and can be done with learners of different levels. I also love the collaboration and creativity of this activity.

PowerPoint Karaoke - A little high stakes, but in smaller group, like some of my CLTs, I could see many of them loving this one.

I am intrigued by the "Cross the Circle" game. It seems like a good version of "stand up if...." to help see some commonalities amongst the group as well as to have movement. This can be low stakes if some of the prompts are involving the workplace (at this site more than 10 years, work on the lower level, uses an even numbered classroom, etc...) or can be more personal (has more than 2 traffic tickets in their lifetime, eats pizza at least once a week, addicted to buying shoes, etc...) if the group already has some familiarity.

Quotes

I know it requres some preparation but I enjoy the idea of sharing quotes and having participants discuss what they mean to them. You could theme the quotes to fit your topic to a point.

I would try the "Looking Around" activity, where it gets people to forget some of the ways they used to do things and look at alternative ways of doing things.

It would be nice of this was purchased for IFTs to use.

Rock Paper Scissors Tournament - This seems like a fun and basic way to get people up and moving especially after along day of teaching. Since most people already know how to play, there would not be a lot of prep/explaination time.

The Fun with Snowballs activity is playful and fun. Teachers don't often get to "play" and this would be a way to leave behind the stress of meetings and PD to have a little fun.

Break the Ice with The Four Quadrants Activity looks like a fun activty for participants. It provides an opportunity for people to work together and feel comfortable with each other.

Looking Around is a great ice breaker. It's low stakes and gets it's point across nicely--it's difficult to unlearn old concepts and commit to new ones, but it's possible. It provides a sympathetic message that would go over well if participants are apprehensive about tech.

Excited looks like an activity that will meet everyone's comfort level. I like how the word can be customized to match your content and it can be done in limited space setting (e.g. classroom w/ desks).

The paperclip method activity seems like a great way to get teachers involved in a creative thinking routine that could align with the same method of thought that they might use with their students for STEM/design challenges. I like that it gets them thinking out of the box, focusing on many of the 5C's that we're using with students each and every day.

I like the Take a picture of your shoes exercise. I do think it would work best in a smallish group though as sharing could get long.

Leadership Pizza looks like an interesting take on the what people value the most. I guess the only thing i would change about the activity is that I would have a large "pizza" drawn with the topics listed on the crust and have "dot" stickers to represent "pepperoni" and have participants place their toppings on their top three- 5 choices to see where the group is as a whole when looking at the topics of what is most important to them.

Doodling together looked like fun. I looked through a lot of them and kept picking ones that kids would enjoy but adults would feel threatened by. Doodling together would work for most adults.

This activity gets everyone involved by starting with everyone doing their own idea, then gradually increases to a pair, small group and whole group. Instead of starting with a small group where everyone might not be involved or engaged.

Doodling Together- This reminds me of a digital game I play with my family. You all work together to draw an image where every person adds a little something to it each turn. It is a fun way to interact with each other and there is no right or wrong way to create the image. Plus, it encourages everyone to participate but keeps interactions manageable for those that are quiet or shy.
