Today I learned many tips about cross cultural communication. We played a game with cards which was about the same story described by people from two different planets from their own point of views. We compared each card and pointed out the different prospectives of the two people. That was the final part of our seminar and the end of our journey in beautiful Guadeloupe. Overall this was an unforgettable educational commutative experience in every level.

Today i discover how important is the communication between people from other cultures. It is very difficult to comnunicate with and there are many different barriers such as language differences, stereotypes, nonverbal misinterpretation and so many others. To reduce these barriers and maximize our cross cultural communication we have to separate our questions, write down some information, check the meanings and always be supportive.
Generally the course was very helpful for me. I learned many new ways to approach people and especially my students in order to achieve a better communication. I was listening very carefully and trying to understand my mistakes or something i was doing and didn't help me.
I am very proud about the mosaic i made and the improvement i had during the course until i was managed to finish it. I was always thinking the similarities that a a perfect mosaic has with perfect comnunication. All pieces fix together and give you an excellent result.

On this course I learned the importance and the necessity to learn and use effective communication in order to be successful in our social and work lives.

I explored communication while creating a mosaic, which was very creative and relaxing.

I also explored the six criteria for assessing communication competence, as well as the eight key competences for lifelong learning.

Furthermore I learned how the six criteria for assessing communication competence could apply to the multilingual competence needs.

Moreover, I confirmed the saying “practice is the mother of learning” by continuing with my mosaic.

I learned that when you are target-focused, ambitious, methodical, determined and/or consistent you could reach your goals and achieve everything you want.

I also practiced how to get along with different people, cultures, languages and attitudes and be adaptable, flexible and easy going throughout every experience, either good or challenging.

We also visited a primary school in the city of Sainte-Anne to decorate the wall with our mosaic. Our mosaic reflected some traditional patterns from Cyprus. We also came along their problems and their needs, but also their happy faces, their warm hug and their good will. No barriers identified today!

Amazing experience!
