We are very happy and proud that we have a stationary feeder in the yard of the kindergarten. It was made by the father of Goda, a student in our group, with his friend Brian. At the request of the tutor of Aushra, the father of the pupil Goda of the “Saulute” group made a stationary feeder for wintering birds and donated it to the Etiudas kindergarten. The children learned that the part of the book being read can be marked with a tab. In this way, we will save not only the book, but also nature. Using scraps of cardboard, we made tabs for the book. We have created a laminated, non-smudge book tab. The book tabs will be taken to the children's literature section of the nearest library, where the library staff will give the tabs to young readers.

The children from the Kockica group showed great interest in the birds that we see in the area every day. This motivated us to start a small project about birds in which we spent many activities. We made posters about bird species and their beaks, modeled birds from clay and natural materials, drew mother birds and babies, told stories and sang songs. In our STEAM center, we measured the size of the wings of seagulls and sparrows using posters and compared them with our size. We constructed the wings of a moving bird from straws using slots. We observed the birds with binoculars and with the help of our parents we collected many feathers from different species of birds. With the help of a grandfather, a birdhouse was made, which we will hang on the tree. The plan is also to make feeders and food for the birds so that they can endure the winter more easily.

UTFORSKNING I SKOGEN

Barnen lär sig mycket om olika växter, insekter och djur när vi har besök i skogen. Barnens fantasi ökar

och mycket annat att upptäcka,tex en pinne kan vara en orm eller en löv kan vara en segel båt eller

kan känna lukten av björnen eller ett trädstam som igelkotts boendet

Genom våra utflykter till skogen kommer barner lära sig nya begrepp, hur man kan vara vän med

natur och djur, även gentemot varandra. Genom att vara i skogen/ ute i naturen lär barnen sig att

använda alla sina sinne, lyssna på olika ljud från djur och vinden, lukta skogen alltså på växter, se olika

ting med olika former och färger. Under vistelsen i skogen går barnen olika stigar i skogen, här tränas

grovmotoriken när de kliver på grenar, klättrar över stenar och går uppför/nedför branta backar även

finmotoriken tränas av bland annat plockning av kottar, blommor, bär och pinnar sedan kopplade vi

barnens upplevelser till dagens aktiviteter såsom matematik och teckning
