When she mixes the Baking Soda (which has sodium bicarbonate) with the soap and also with the citric acid (orange juice), the solution starts to bubble and expand. This is because of the citric acid and the Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) doing a chemical reaction. The product is a carbon dioxide gas. The evidence that proves a chemical reaction is occurring is when the solution starts to fizz and create bubbles.

This is another example of fizzing. The tablet dissolves and creates bubbles that rise to the top of the water and creates a chemical reaction in which fizzing takes place. We know that the chemical reaction is a fizz because we can see the bubbles that were created. Any fizz, indicates a chemical reaction.

This is a picture of a candle. When scented candles are burnt, they produce a very nice smell or aroma. Candles smell because they have fragrance oils in them that put off the smell once the candle is lit. Some candles may have a certain amount of essential oils in them without the fragrance/essential oils they would not have a smell besides the smell of the wax itself that puts off little to no smell at all. When the aroma is created, this is a chemical reaction because you can smell it when you couldn't smell anything before. Which is why the oils only release when the candle is lit.

The creation of ice cubes is a chemical reaction. It is an exothermic reaction which means it gives off its heat. When the water is poured into the ice cube trays, it is warmer than when it comes out of the ice cube trays. The heat is lost because the final solution is cold. This is a chemical reaction because a change in temperature takes place.
