I chose Junie B Jones by Barbara Park because its a NYT best selling book, plus it is a series. Each book has a different story, and that is why Jasmine like these style of books. These books are a 2nd-3rd reading level, so jasmine normally flies by reading these.

Harry Potter

I chose Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, because its one of jasmines favorites. She loves book series, which is why I chose this for her. Each of the books has a different story and adventure which she adores. This book is a middle-grade read, so its quite up there compared to the grade she is in now.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

I chose Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney, because its an iconic book that all elementary kids look at or check out whether they know how to read it or not. The reading level for these book vary from grade 3-7.

Wonder

I chose Wonder by R.J. Palacio because this teaches about being kind. By knowing this at a young age will hopefully infuence them to be kind to everyone. This book reading level is grades 5-7, but she was wanting to read it for awhile.

I chose Pete The Cat by James Dean and Eric Litwin because there are a variety of different ones which will keep her occupied, especially with the illustrations. These books reading level is reading level G.

I chose Nancy Clancy by Jane O'Connor because Jasmine is a girly girl, and this fits her personality. It is also a little harder read so it will challenge her as well. The reading level of this is grades 1-5.
